Two-part Teak Military Chest Of Drawers
Circa 1860. A quality mid-Victorian, teak two-part brass bound military chest, the solid chest with brass quarter brackets and strapping, the front with a configuration of one deep drawer flanked by a pair of shorter drawers, the central drawer with a maker’s label ‘York House, Regent Street, London’, ’all with flush brass military handles with strapping between each section, beneath the top three drawers a configuration of three more full length drawers all lined in ash (a sign of quality), resting on four turned tulip shaped feet.
