Small 8:o (text about 130x73 mm., binding 143x80 mm.). (31, of 32 leaves, lacks title) ll.
Contemporary blindtooled vellum over wooden boards, very worn, upper board damaged in outer margin, brass fittings (missing one fitting and clasps), blank spine in four compartments. In the beginning and at the end 13 leaves with old annotations and 23 blank leaves. Also old annotations on the inside of the boards.
Both editions seem to be unrecorded. The Psalterium Davidis ends with a text by Philipp Melanchton. Kirchner printed this book first in 1562, and last in 1583.
Hiob Magdeburg's (1518-1595) edition of the cateches in Latin and Greek was first edited in 1560, it was the fourth Latin translation and the first Greek .At the end is a couple of religious verses by Georg Fabricius (1516-1571).
