US KRAG MODEL 1896 SPRINGFIELD RIFLE

SERIAL 35385. BARREL 30". CALIBER 30-40. Standard Spanish American War issue rifle that features two bands, high post front sight, rear sight to 2000 yards, blue finish with one piece walnut stock and three sling swivels. The P on wrist is still visible but not the left side cartouche. This is a very clean rifle with metal a smooth mix of blue turning patina. Legends are sharp. The stocks are excellent with usual impressions. The bore is clean and action is fine. Comes with an original US Krag 1895 dated bayonet. A
