US SPRINGFIELD M1894 .30-40 KRAG RIFLE CARBINE

SN 12404. 22.5" barrel bolt action antique .30-40 rifle. Made in 1895. Krag-Jorgensen Model 1894 US service rifle, made by Springfield, which was converted to Carbine. Rear sling swivel hole has been filled, forward sling swivel and fore-end stock has been cut back, but there is no saddle ring. Features rear tangent sight, blade front sight, and plain wood military stock. Bore very good with strong rifling, but age wear. Finish approximately 85% with age wear throughout. Action flawless. Very Good. Antique.
