SERIAL 601275. BARREL 32 5/8" . CALIBER .45-70 GOVT. Standard features include 1884 Buffington rear sight, blade front sight, full length walnut stock with cartouche on left side visible but not readable. Two barrel bands and 1884 dated block with US Springfield on lock. Metal is a smooth blue brown having some wiped on finish at one time. Stocks are excellent with light hairline near lock on right side. Rifling is sharp. Should make a good shooter. A
