Musket, 1816 model - made in Harper's Ferry in 1828 - cal 69 smooth - percussion - all the original features - “CONE conversion” Markings: lock: Harper's Ferry - 1828 - eagle - US Barrel: symbol - letters V and P Very good overall condition - can be used with black powder - very nice dark wood, some small bumps on the wood next to the lock (see photo 8) . Converted mainly during the civil war, it was used mainly by the confederation which seized a large quantity when they captured Harper's Ferry
