USA - Sharps Pistol rifle - Percussion - Rifle - 38

Sharps pistol rifle in cal 38 RARE. Only about 600 made of this one, in two calibres, 31 and 38. 28 inch round barrel. Right side of front end is missing a sliver of wood. Most browning on barrel turned dark and is still there. The stock is original (usually replaced since they brake easily) and has the iron mountings. works fine. The small cover plate beneath the top of the hammer, guiding the fulminate pills is missing. But that does not interfere with the action of this rare rifle. Bore is dirty but shows deep rifling. All correct and truly rare. Only to be sold in Europe!
