Ulysse Nardin is known as one of the founders of the Swiss marine chronometer industry, next to Louis Jean. Richard-dit-Bressel and Henri Grandjean. Chronometer watches, with their own manufacture movements, are one of the most sought-after types of collector's watches. Solid gold Lépine from the factory of one of the best watch manufacturers. Interesting 14 kt (585) gold Lépine - hallmarked. Polished case. Gold inner lid. The dial is in very well-kept condition without damage. Bicolour look. Made with guilloché and non-guilloché. Ring with smooth numerals. Guilloché inner surface. Very fine Arabic numerals. Small recessed second hand at six o'clock. Blued steel hands - very fine. Decorative beams under 12 o'clock. Hand adjustment via the crown. Dust lid (also 14 kt gold) , smooth finish. Smooth case back on the outside - hallmarked with 0. 585 on the inside and further gold hallmarks as well as company hallmark. Gold-coloured in-house manufactured movement. Also inscribed with Ulysse Nardin Locle Geneve 59198 on the movement. Four chatons - ruby bearing stone - special fine adjustment. The movement is in working order.
