Naval flintlock pistol with Scottish-style system, 18th century, converted to percussion. Scottish-style bronze chest with beautiful chiselling. Walnut wood butt decorated with flowers, mother-of-pearl inlay, naval symbol, small star-shaped hallmarks near the trigger guard at the back. The butt is very shiny; it is not varnish but old-fashioned wax, well maintained and preserved. Faceted barrel with flared mouldings at the muzzle Shooting safety at the back of the hammer, cap in perfect condition. 100% functional, powerful spring, very good condition for its age. Hardly used. Very well maintained. Very rare pistol, especially in this condition! Excellent for a beautiful display case or for shooting enthusiasts who appreciate antique weapons.
