Beautiful original WW2 era Lee Enfield No4 MKII with nail bayonet. This Enfield was used in the Second World War and later used in the Dutch army as a practice weapon. It is made by the well-known English brand Long Branch 1943. The logos of the brand can be found on the wood and steel work There's a lot of history attached to this rifle! The woodwork is in good condition and has acquired a beautiful dark color through intensive use. On the buttplate is still a storage space for an oil bottle / cleaning set. The ironwork shows dents and light pitting, which gives it an authentic look. The latch and trigger can no longer be moved.
