Sabre “a la Mameluke” as they are called because it was inspired by the curved blade of the Mameluks who ruled Egypt until the arrival of Napoléon I. Bakelite hilt, which dates from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Rust-free blade (see images) Brass scabbard with two rings with a small bump at the bottom. Sabre very famous since the Duke of Wellington was the one he carried it since his stay in British India.
