Folding map, printed in two or three colors, the verso printed with facts about the physical nature of the US: population, distances, brief history, etc., on paper (42 x 61 ½ inches; 1067 x 1562mm). Tipped to and folding into a pair of boards (various splits, a few small voids, boards damaged [see images]).
An excellent large scale map of the continental United States in acceptable condition: the map includes red dots on a selection of cities throughout the States: these appear to be a unique addition and they presumably mark locations that had meaning to an early or the original owner of the map: perhaps a reference to a nationwide network of stores or businesses ?
