A Uruguayan French Converted German Model 71 1881 Dated 6.5X53mm Bolt Action Rifle in good condition with a bright and defined bore but needs light cleaning. The action appears to function properly with moderate wear to the original finish and even grey patina. This German Model 1871 Mauser rifle was modified circa 1890's to 6.5X53,5 SR mm Daudeteau caliber by the French St. Denis arsenal and was then sold to Uruguay.
