VAN CLEEF & ARPELS - an 18ct gold sapphire and diamond ring. Designed as a calibre-cut sapphire and brilliant-cut diamond tapered ribbon. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels, M 39013. Estimated total diamond weight 0.80ct. French assay marks. Ring size K1/2. Weight 9.4gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
Several shallow dents across the base of the band.
Band shows evidence of resizing.
Diamonds well matched.
Diamonds bright.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
Diamonds with no obvious inclusions under 10x magnification.
Sapphires are a well matched deep, medium blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and few inclusions. Some with slight colour zoning.
Sapphires in good condition.
Stamped 750.
Width (at widest) 1.1cms.
