The large oval-shaped carved shell depicting Venus with Cupid within a decorative applied frame, mounted in 18ct gold with a 9ct gold brooch pin, length 75mm, width 60mm, total gross weight approximately 41 grams.

Condition: Condition Report:

In our opinion, the shell carving is intact with light abrasions throughout. Light abrasions, scratches and small nicks to the metal consistent with age and wear. The pendant bail and brooch pin are in good working order.

The brooch/pendant is of very good craftsmanship.

Overall condition of the brooch/pendant is very good.
