Friedman was a Major Textile Merchant, a music Patron and senior Member of the Metropolitan Opera. His music collection was donated to Princeton University.Evan Richards sang Opera at first thus his relationship with Friedman, but went on to be known later as Tiziani. Tiziani became the World Renown Couture fashion designer for European Royalty, major movie stars such as Elizabeth Taylor, and other very wealthy and important individuals such as Doris Duke (of Tobacco Frame). Tiziani gave Karl Lagerfeld a start at Tiziani’s Rome Fashion house in the mid and late 60’s where theyworked together designing for more than 5 years. A Huge collection of their designs and work was successfully auctioned off several years ago.
