Impressive and rare pair of very large porcelain of Paris vases, Louis Philippe / Napoleon III period- 1840/1860. Curved in shape, colocynth style, ending with an irregular poly-lobed flared neck. The vertical stripes in black and Amati gold edged in white make it a model of rare elegance. A story of nearly 180 years, without ever being separated, during which they have lost nothing of their beauty, just a slight crack inside the neck. See photo.
