Rare and exceptionally shaped Nakajimi Yasumi (1905 – 1986) bronze vase. Deep red-brown patinated bronze with semi-smooth surface and on both sides attached "earrings". Signed by Nakajima Yasumi. Definitely with signs of age and use and some scratches. Please see pictures. But with beautiful patina. The vast majority of Yasumi vases are designed and made by the incredibly creative and versatile Yasumi II. He was a member of the All Japan Decorative Art Association and regularly exhibited at the annual Japan art exhibition Nitten, where he was awarded several prizes. Weight: 2242 gram.
