A Guan-Type Crackleware Twin Handled Vase, 18th/19th Century The vase of Hu form is covered in a celadon tone glaze with a singular extensive crackle effect throughout. At each opposing side a front facing unglazed lion head handle in relief. At the shoulder a continuous band of unglazed greek key fret and ruyi head design. The base unglazed with a brown wash and an incised four character apocryphal Chenghua period mark. Condition: The rim of the vase has been ground down at some stage.
