A lovely antique Chinese porcelain vase with multiple glazing techniques (copper red, celadon green, underglaze blue) ; covered in a beautiful pale jade celadon glaze with panels showing a decoration of four walls with plum blossom, chrysanthemum, lotus and peonies in a landscape, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white with underglaze red (copper red) , the red has some green tones in it, typical for Ming and early Qing copper red (the colour changes from green to red during the baking process) , this is a very difficult technique and is probably the reason why the blue is slightly darker (copper red pieces from the Kangxi period have more often a darker blue reign mark) . Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty (1644-1912) , possibly Kangxi period (1662-1722) . On the backside a well written 6 character Kangxi (reign) mark, Da Qing Kang. Xi Nian Zhi, in underglaze blue. Well trimmed foot rim. Typical for the Kangxi period was to experiment with different techniques, as shown on this lovely piece. Guaranteed original and of the stated dynasty. Height: 17,0 centimeter Condition: The object is in overall good condition, one hairline on the rim, shallow flakes off the foot, without any restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light. Shipping method: This lot will be securely packed and shipped with insurance, without wooden stand.
