A rare and important antique Chinese porcelain square bottle vase with a central decoration of fierce Kylins and Shishi amidst fire clouds, burning ruyi and Buddhist objects above a wild sea smashing against rocks, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. In the border a classical decoration of geometrical and floral patterns. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Ming dynasty, Wanli period (ca. 1580) . On the bottom a nicely sculpted foot rim. Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Height: 29,5 centimeter Weight: 1,788 KGS Condition: The object is in fair condition, glaze losses on the edges, restored cracks deriving from various baking imperfections (see pictures) .
