Very Fine and Rare Chippendale Carved and Highly Figured Mahogany Pitch-Pediment Chest-on-Chest

Appears to retain its original Rococo fire-gilt cast brass. Phoenix finial replaced.
Height 94 in. by Width 46 in. by Depth 24 in.
Condition Report:
The back proper left foot has a replacement piece that joins the base. Base is good. Side returns (4) replaced as well as patched side molding. Secondary woods are white pine, yellow pine, and poplar. Top drawers have glue blocks on underside but bottom drawers don't. Top long drawer on top with 3 inch patched lip. Base has dry oxidized wood and original components. It appears the side moldings were repaired and feet were reattached with modern screws and back proper left block replaced.
