Antique small scalloped Rococo style dish, jewelry tray or vanity decor, floral design with golden rim, marked with blue Victoria Carlsbad Austria mark (1891-1918).
The factory was established in 1883 in Karlsbad by a London company Lazarus & Rosenfeld Ltd. In 1885, it was bought by Franz Schmidt and renamed Porzellanfabrik Victoria Schmidt & Co. After the WWI, Austrian Empire was divided into several independent states. The city of Carlsbad was renamed Karlovy Vary in the new independent state Czechoslovakia. Therefore, any porcelain marked "Carlsbad, Austria" was definitely created prior to 1918.
