Vietnamese Nguyen Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Medicine Huluping Vase W/Japonnicus Fungus Mark (From a Vietnamese Royal Family) - This medicine huluping vase is of typical form with a double gourd shape that is a symbol of good luck and immortality, and thought to absorb negative energy and have magical medicinal healing properties. The vase is decorated in underglazed blue with auspicious calligraphy and lotus leaves circling the neck and base. The bottom of the piece bears the Nam Linh Chi (Japonnicus Fungus) mark in blue underglaze.
