Villeroy and Boch Mettlach Lidded German Beer Stein #1028. The stein is a tree trunk form with pewter mounted harvest design lid. It features worded mottos in German in fruited frames and a cameo relief design of field workers drinking in the wheat fields. The height is 15" (with handle) x 10" wide. Markings on the bottom Villeroy & Boch 1028. There are no chips or repairs. Some small separations in the cream framed pieces and age wear to pewter. Please refer to all photos. Overall in good condition.
