Vintage 14kt Solid Gold Mechanical Rotary Dial Phone
Vintage 1940-1950's 14kt Solid Gold 3-D, Rotary Dial Phone with moving Dial that has 7 sapphires and a center pearl that is 4.5 mm. The sapphires are believed to be natural - given the size and that they are mounted I cannot test this but this was a top end piece when it was made and others have been known to have real sapphires. Weight is 4.79 grams. It is signed 14kt and GJ on the back. This was part of a charm bracelet belonging to a woman from Pennsylvania/New Jersey that had a very nice 14kt gold charm bracelet. She was born in 1928 and the charms are truly vintage charms. I have 11 charms in all and some with gemstones. (The others are: typewriter, praying hands, hear/speak/see no evil, cross with heart and anchor, Atlantic City Country Club wishing well, a victorian key with pearls and a stone that looks like an aquamarine and amethyst, bible that opens with written Lord's Prayer on paper, Christmas tree, and square dancers). The bracelet is by Pomerantz and is locking and 9mm wide, triple link and also either will be offered in Etsy or my own store at mariasvintage.com. This charm has typical wear and jump ring is attached (but solder had to be cut to remove from bracelet). It is in very good condition. Came from a PA estate. See photos.
