Vintage Elitse S M Limoges Porcelain Vase

This lot contains a vintage Elite S M Limoges porcelain vase. This vase was made in Limoges France by the Bawo & Dotter company. This company originally imported porcelain mainly from Limoges before starting their own porcelain decorating manufactory in Limgoes called Elite Works. In1896 they began producing their own porcelain. Production lasted until the beginning of World War 1. The two stamps on the bottom of the vase can be dated from 1896-1900 as this was the emblem the company was using at the time. The vase is a solid sage green color and was hand painted and embossed with gold for aesthetic purposes. It is approx 5 3/4" x 2 3/4" and weighs about 0.6lbs. The vase is in good vintage condition with some ware from use over time.
