Vintage German Stoneware Handpainted Beer Stein

Vintage Stoneware Hand Painted German .5 Liter Stein. Believed to be from artist Wick Werke. This stein does not come with a lid. The design in the front of the stein has a scene of a man and woman holding hands and the phrases "War Das Dasein Voller Tadel" & "Ohne Bier u Ohne Madel". The bottom of the stein is impressed with AG "Made in Germany" the mold number 8005 and the number 22. Stein is in good used condition with no known cracks , it has some expected crazing from age. Believed to be from the 1920s-1930s. Measurements for the stein 6" x 5".Â
