A vintage hand carved and painted black, white and grey duck decoy. The decoy has a rudder attached to the underside. It was presumably used for duck hunting. Additionally there are metal pieces attached to the rudder perhaps for weights. The decoy has glass eyes, a grey bill, black body with white highlights. There are areas of paint loss and some slight cracks in the wood. The piece exhibits age appropriate wear. It measures approximately 14 inches long by approximately 8 inches wide by approximately 7.75 inches high.
