Vintage Sterling Silver Southwestern Pierced Earrings

[ translate ]

Vintage 1960's Sterling Silver Southwestern/Navajo Pierced Earrings signed RL (Robert Livingston, Navajo, 1960's). These weight 8.99 grams. They are 1.5" wide and just under 3/4" wide at the widest point. They have a ring stud from which the teardrop dangle swings. It is a matching shaped chunky piece of mother-of-pearl that has a mosaic turquoise flower sitting on top of with sterling stem and petal dividers. The mother-of-pearl is bezel-set and then has a wider rope accent base. There are notches around the bezel. Very pleasant and great quality too. I am not sure if the RL signed is the same as Robert Livingston but the marks are very similar and I've others with the same mark saying it is Robert Livingston and in similar designs as well. These definitely have an old school type ring stud. They are at least 50 years old. Very good condition - typical light patina/tarnish. See photos. Lot Loc. No. WIN.10.15.2916.G12.1X1.
