LOT 0025

Vintage Sterling Silver Turquoise Native

[ translate ]

Vintage sterling silver Southwestern/Native American Turquoise Stamped Cuff Bracelet. 13.00 grams. It is 5" from end to end with an additional 1" for the opening. It 2.25" from side-to-side and 1.5" deep - this is for a slender wrist - or youth. There is some movement on the silver to reshape but I'd strongly advise against it because it can weaken over time. This has a 1/3" long bezel set turquoise stone that is raised up from the band. There is a rope accent around part of the sides of the stone and three silver bead accents on each end with arrow stampings and other Native American designs - I'd guess more Navajo. It is 2/3" at the widest point and tapers down to 1/4" at the back where it is rounded. The very top center has a waist like finish and is slightly wider than the widest point. I believe this is 1970's or thereafter. There looks to be faint markings on the inside band although not certain as it could be part of the stamping from the outside coming through. It has some vintage patina/tarnish that can easily be cleaned. I do not do this automatically as many buyers have indicated a preference for leaving it as is. Will clean upon purchase if requested. This came from a PA estate sale. Very good condition.
