Don’t miss this opportunity and become the new owner of this timeless Volkswagen Beetle! This is a NO RESERVE PRICE AUCTION. The Volkswagen Beetle which was built from 1938 to 2003 is the most famous Volkswagen, the most famous German car, and in general one of the most famous cars ever. The early split-window Beetle was found to have too small a rear window and so, to increase safety, the rear window was made 50% larger. The window was given an oval shape, marking the birth of the oval Beetle. In Germany they affectionately call it Ovali. The engine went from 25 to 30 HP, and the hydraulic brakes and throttle were introduced. The Beetle has a well running engine with a nice sound. The car shifts smoothly through all gears and it brakes properly. The car has recently been fitted with a new coat of paint, the L227 Strato Silver lacquer still looks great and fits the recently restored interior nicely. The car has a Dutch registration and a valid Dutch periodic inspection (without expiry date because of the Beetle’s age) , so this classic is ready to be enjoyed! A Beetle ‘Oval Windows’ is becoming harder to find, especially in such a nice condition. So don’t wait too long and become the new owner of this timeless Volkswagen!
