Volkswagen - T2B - 1974

Volkswagen T2B Combi, from the year 1974, in very good condition. The vehicle was purchased by its current owner in 2018, and has subsequently been painstakingly and unhurriedly restored. As far as bodywork, a professional carried out all the repair work, replaced parts and applied protection and final finish in two shades of red and white, creating a very lovely combination. At the mechanical level, all the parts have been disassembled and replaced with new ones as necessary. The engine is completely new, with only 15 km of mileage. So are the clutch and the gearbox, both of which work very smoothly. You can see that all engine parts that have been replaced were replaced with new parts, with metal parts being painted etc. Two ventilation tubes are not shown in the photos, but the car will be delivered with them installed. The brakes are completely new, as well as shock absorbers, tyres, etc. The electrical system has been checked, and everything is in working order. As far as the finish, the vehicle's cabin interior is in mint condition, with all the elements of the dashboard, under dashboard, floor, carpet, upholstery, etc. refreshed. The back features a bench seating three people, and the middle seat is missing; this used to be a vehicle that seats eight people. The new owner could buy a middle seat or leave the vehicle as it is currently, where there is a huge amount of room in the middle. The vehicle comes with enough fabric for upholstering the missing middle bench in case the new owner wishes to buy one, so that all the seats will have matching upholstery. The boot is upholstered in grey carpet, and the roof includes finishing insulation, leaving the top part finished. Sliding door panels, cabin separator and sides are completely new. There is only a couple of pieces that were previously repaired, and although they were well welded, they did not match the original shape. This part is located on the interior floor, which is corrugated while the installed part is flat. Please see the photo of this detail. Even so, it is not a structural piece, it is just a detail. This vehicle does not have documents, but a bill of sale will be delivered, so there will be no problem with processing new registration in the buyer's country.
