This Volvo has been owned by one owner for over 35 years. The car was sold several years ago to its current 2nd Belgian owner. Recently had a new Belgian vehicle inspection and it is valid until 6/2021. Well maintained car that has still been driven regularly during nice weather. The beautiful 2. 7L drives great, start the engine and drive. The automatic transmission shifts well through all gears and the brakes function properly. A lovely car for touring. It is the Rolls-Royce among Volvos Wonderful model, rare and a real sought-after enthusiast’s/collector’s item. Fully original in all details with the beautiful original Bertone components and accents. The car has been fully repainted in the past. Is still in a good, presentable condition but don't expect a car in a mint condition! Here and there a small scratch or bubble, naturally these add to the car’s allure. The car is complete with 3 keys and a few booklets. A few year ago it had a major maintenance: mounting of 2 new camshafts in the engine block, 12 new rocker arms, new timing belt +tensioners +gears, new cylinder head gasket left & right, new cooling water and a new thermostat and of course new oil and filters. The interior is completely original. Incredibly beautiful and neat, remains original. Beautiful seats with the usual signs of wear, wonderful and vintage ‘lived’ look. Full options, even with electric mirrors and windows. The bodywork has been fully addressed in the past. And equipped with a new protective coating. It also recently got a new exhaust system prior to the vehicle inspection in order to comply with the current 2020 requirements. . Naturally, here and there a small spot, every Volvo from 1978 has these. Still equipped with the first original roof. Has already been repaired in the known places in the past, not in a mint condition but waterproof and no tears on the roof! It also stands on the 4 original alloy wheels with good Michelin tyres. As you can see, there is a spare set of wheels in the boot compartment with the original spare wheel +jack +tool set. The engine compartment is in an impeccable condition, just fantastic.
