Volvo - PV 544 C - 1965
The Volvo PV 544, also known as 'cat’s back', started its life in the middle of WW2, you can tell from the type name: PV stood for 'personvagn' (passenger car) . The difference with its predecessors lies in the windscreen that no longer consists of two flat parts separated by a bar, but from a single, convex sheet. The rear window was also enlarged, the dashboard was modernised and the three-speed gearbox was replaced by a four-speed one. Completely original Dutch car from January 1965! Originally delivered in the Netherlands on 12-1-1965. - The car is complete. - One of the last types PV544 (with square logos on the flanks) - Various extra parts included (such as a restored door, boot lid, seat parts) - Welding on the bottom, sills and some sheet metal. - Plastic mudguards front and rear - Complete interior (in parts) - Engine and gearbox are good. - New fuel pump mounted It’s now gathering dust in a shed which is a real shame for such a car. It definitely needs attention but with some time and love you can turn it into a beautiful car, all the necessary parts are included. (incl. chrome strips, logos and all keys) Full Dutch registration certificate available. Worldwide transport/delivery is possible at an attractive rate.
