The sculpture is powerful, strong and mastered. The character seems anchored to the ground, drawing primal force from it. His position and attitude gives him a dominant air. The sculptor was able to breathe life into this work and give it a rather rare evocative power. The wood is ancient. Crusty patina on the face of the object, the back did not undergo the same offerings. The face is captivating, it is asymmetrical but realistic and balanced. A necklace decorates the neck.
