Description: The graphic illustrates a baroque architectural motif. At the centre is a sacred building with an onion dome and a curved gabled façade. Small figures are grouped in the foreground, suggesting the social interaction of the era. Detailed depictions of clouds entwine heraldic symbols flanked by angelic figures. The bilaterally symmetrical composition emphasises the central perspective. The drawing demonstrates a high level of skill in the depiction of architectural elements as well as human and emblematic motifs.

Condition:Rather good condition. Significant foxing, particularly in the lower area. Foxing also visible in the upper right and in the sky. The sheet edges narrowly trimmed. Some dusting in places along the edges and occasional tiny marginal tears. Upper right somewhat rubbed. There is a full-page horizontal crease in the centre.

Beschreibung: Die Grafik illustriert ein barockes Architekturmotiv. Im Zentrum steht ein sakrales Gebäude mit einer Zwiebelturmspitze und einer geschwungenen Giebelfassade. Im Vordergrund gruppieren sich kleinformatige Figuren, welche die soziale Interaktion der Epoche suggerieren. Detailreich ausgearbeitete Wolkendarstellungen umranken heraldische Symbole, flankiert von Engelsfiguren. Der bilateral symmetrische Bildaufbau betont die Zentralperspektive. Die Zeichnung demonstriert eine hohe Kunstfertigkeit in der Darstellung architektonischer Elemente sowie menschlicher und emblematischer Motive.

Zustand: Akzeptabler Zustand. Insbesondere im unteren Bereich deutlich stockfleckig. Oben rechts sowie im Himmel ebenfalls Stockflecken sichtbar. Die Blattkanten sind knapp beschnitten. Entlang der Kanten stellenweise etwas verstaubt und vereinzelt mit winzigen Randeinrissen. Oben rechts etwas berieben. Mittig befindet sich eine ganzseitige, horizontale Knickfalte.
