WORLD WAR II: A hardback bound 4to Visitor's Book from the Embassy Club in Berlin containing over 190 signatures by various military leaders, servicemen and other individuals who visited the club between 1945-46, the majority of them British although also featuring some Americans and people of other nationalities, including B. L. Montgomery (dated 10th November 1945), Claude Auchinleck (dated 9th June 1946), Lewis Lyne, James Orr, Eric Nares, Wing Commander William J. Smith, Leslie B. Nicholls, Air Vice Marshal Raymund Hart, Robert A. Willard, Dudley Hallwood (two original coloured crayon drawings, one depicting Winston Churchill and other gentlemen smoking cigars and the other, loosely inserted, captioned The Man who Ordered Oxo at the Embassy), John N. Cheney, Lancelot Royle (Olympic silver medallist, 1924), William Strang, 1st Baron Strang, John Spencer-Churchill, 10th Duke of Marlborough, Lady Caroline Spencer-Churchill, Major General W. H. A. Bishop, Harman Grisewood, Major General Ian Erskine, Group Captain J. Woodroffe, Vice Admiral C. J. A. Miles, Frederick Elwyn Jones, William Steffens, General Sir George Erskine, Major General W. R. N. Hinde, Syed Shahid Hamid, Desmond Young and many others. Most of the signatories have added their ranks alongside their signatures and many have also added various comments.
