WORLDWIDE EARLY REVENUE COLLECTION: Five old, somewhat 'tatty' albums/ledgers, possibly of French origin, with the extensive A-Z, mainly used, collection of Revenue & Fiscal stamps. Apparently nothing later than early 1900s, with great strength in Italian regions, France, German States, Spain & Colonies, South America, etc. Commonwealth also strongly represented by GB, Australian States, India, Southern Africa, New Zealand, Canada & Hong Kong. A truly remarkable accumulation, though we must note that all the stamps are attached to pages with a small dab of glue. It would take many years to assemble such a collection again.
