WW2 German Luftwaffe 2nd Pattern Officers Dress Dagger by Anton Wingen Jr, Solingen, fine example with a yellow / orange grip with the original wire binding. Pommel with remains of gilt wash to the central swastika. Eagle in flight cross guard. Original officers bullion portepee (knot). Housed in the original scabbard which retains much of the original finish. Attached to the scabbard is an original set of velvet backed brocade hanging straps with metal clip fittings. Excellent condition blade with small type makers trademark. Much of the cross graining remaining to the blade. Overall a very good example.
