WW2 German Naval (Kriegsmarine) Officers Dress Dagger with Straps and Knot by WKC, Solingen, fine example retaining much of the original gilt wash finish to the eagle pommel, white celluloid grip retaining the wire binding, cross guard with press button. Attached to the grip is an original Kriegsmarine issue golden officers dress portepee (knot). Gilt metal scabbard with two hanging rings. Attached to the scabbard is a pair (large and small type) of dress hangers with gilded fittings. Near mint condition blade with standard etched foliage and fouled anchor. WKC makers trade mark to the bottom of the blade. Overall a very good example.
