WW2 era Japanese Army NCO's Type 98 Shin Gunto sword and leather scabbard, un-fullered blade, tsuba with lotus leaf design, plain fuchi, leather locking press stud catch, grip with cloth binding, menuki both sides with light verdi gris, some light rust to blade, scabbard with single ring , split in the leather to the bottom 9 inches of scabbard, generally about very fine.
