German World War II 1st Class Iron Cross Decoration. Measures 1 3/4" wide by 1 3/4" inches tall. The front shows a swastika in the center and is dated ‘1939’ on the lower arm. The reverse side includes the top hinge and the ‘c’ catch at the base. The wide vertical pin is not present. Three piece die struck construction with an iron magnetic center. Awarded for gallantry in combat action. Unauthenticated, sold as is.
