WWII Nazi German Insignia Grouping consisting of 1) EM/NCO'S SPORT SHIRT EAGLE. The insignia consists of a white, rayon, half-moon shaped base with a black, machine woven, national eagle, with out-stretched wings, clutching a wreathed, canted swastika in it's talons, to the center. The eagles wingspan is roughly, 23.5cm wide from wing tip to wing tip. 2) EM/NCO'S M35 SPORT SHIRT EAGLE. The insignia consists of a roughly, 14cm, 28cm wide, woven, white, rayon, inverted triangular base with a black, machine woven, second pattern, (circa 1936/1937-1945), Luftwaffe eagle, with out-stretched wings to the center. The eagles wingspan is roughly, 22.5cm wide from tip to tip. 3) LARGE VARIANT RAD SPORTS SHIRT/SHORTS INSIGNIA. Roughly 145mm tall, 120mm wide (not including the factory backing), machine woven, shield shaped, RAD insignia consists of a narrow black outer border stripe with a white inner border stripe encompassing a red base with a central white circular field featuring a black spade head flanked by two diagonally angled sheaths of wheat. The insignia is still on its original white rayon factory roll. The factory roll is well marked with black machine woven RAD logo, "RAJD" in an inverted triangle position above "Ges. Gesch.", indicating, Gesetzlich Geschützt (Protected by Law) and manufacturers initials, "E.B.cS". 4) KRIEGSMARINE GEFREITER'S RANK CHEVRON. The insignia consists of a single, machine woven, cornflower blue rayon, "V" shaped, chevron, machine stitched to an inverted triangular, brushed white cotton base. 5) OBERGEFREITER'S RANK CHEVRON FOR DRILL TUNIC. The insignia consists of a two, "V" shaped, machine woven, bright, silver/aluminum, diamond patterned, tress chevrons, machine stitched on a inverted, triangular, white badge cloth base. Well worn and used example. 6) OBERGEFREITER / STABSGEFREITER'S RANK CHEVRON. The insignia consists of dual, machine woven, silver/aluminum, diamond patterned, tress chevrons, flanking a machine embroidered rank pip in silver/gray threads all mounted on an inverted triangular, field-gray badge cloth base. 7) OBERGEFREITER'S RANK CHEVRON. The insignia consists of two, "V" shaped, machine woven, waffle patterned, tress chevrons in bright, silver/aluminum flat-wire threads, machine stitched on a inverted triangular, Luftwaffe blue/gray wool base, which tapers down to a pointed tip. 8) FELDWEBEL'S SLEEVE RANK INSIGNIA. The insignia consists of a horizontally rectangular, gray wool base with three, cut-out, stylized, scalloped, horizontal white wool "wings" machine stitched in place. The "wings" each have a roughly, 10cm wide wingspan. The three "wings" indicate the rank of Feldwebel. 9) AIR RAID/AIRCRAFT WARNING SERVICE TRADE BADGE. The badge consists of a Luftwaffe blue/gray wool construction base with a machine embroidered, central, stylized wings, similar to the rank "gulls" on Luftwaffe collar tabs, superimposed on two diagonally angled, crossed, "blitz" style lightening bolts, all in silvery/gray rayon threads. 10) DIRECTION FINDER OPERATOR'S TRADE BADGE. The badge consists of a roughly, 2 3/8" diameter, slightly mottled, Luftwaffe blue/gray wool base with a machine embroidered, central, serrated, horizontal bar with eight "lightening bolts" emanating diagonally outward from the center with four lightening bolts to the top and the other four to the bottom of the central bar, and a Gothic "P", indicating, Peil Funker, (Direction Finder Operator), to bottom, all in silvery/gray rayon threads. The badge is in overall excellent, unissued condition with minor age toning. 11) LIGHT AERIAL BOMB ARMORER'S TRADE BADGE. The badge consists of a roughly, 60mm diameter Luftwaffe blue/gray wool construction base with a central, machine embroidered, circular bomb with a crossed hatched pattern and six "flames" emanating from the top edge, all in silvery/gray rayon threads. The badge is in overall good condition with moth damage to the edges. 12) SIGNALS EQUIPMENT BRANCH PERSONNEL TRADE BADGE. The badge consists of a roughly, 50mm diameter Luftwaffe blue/gray wool construction base with machine embroidered, dual, crossed, serrated, downward pointing "lightning bolts" over a cogged wheel in silvery/gray rayon threads. With minimal edge wear. 13) FLIGHT & AIR SIGNALS ARMORER'S TRADE BADGE. The badge consists of a roughly, 55mm diameter Luftwaffe blue/gray wool construction base with machine embroidered, diagonally angled, crossed rifles in silvery/gray rayon threads. 14) MOTOR TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT ADMINISTRATOR'S TRADE BADGE. The badge consists of a roughly, 55mm diameter Luftwaffe blue/gray wool base with a machine embroidered, seven spoked wheel rim and tire with an upward swept wing emanating from the central hub all in silvery/gray threads. The embroidery shows nice detailing including treads to the tire. The badge is in overall mint condition. Complete with original backing fabric. 15) MOTOR VEHICLE DRIVER'S TRADE BADGE. The badge consists of a Luftwaffe blue/gray wool base with a machine embroidered, stylized Luftwaffe eagle superimposed on the likeness of a vehicle radiator grill, all in silver/gray threads. The outer edge of the badge is trimmed in heavy, twisted, silver colored, wire cord piping signifying "distinguished performance as a driver". 16) FLAK ARTILLERY PERSONNEL'S TRADE BADGE. The second pattern, (Circa 1937-1945), badge consists of a Luftwaffe blue/gray wool base with a machine embroidered likeness of a large 88mm flak gun barrel flanked by stylized wings, superimposed on an opened top, oak-leaf wreath with a canted swastika to the bottom center all in silvery/gray rayon threads. 17) CIVIL GLIDING CLASS "C" PROFICIENCY BADGE. A "C" class gliding proficiency badge, comprised of a circular border to three embroidered "gulls," in silver gray thread, on a 50mm diameter, blue-gray wool base. 18) OLGA TARTAR VOLUNTEER'S SLEEVE SHIELD. Consists of a flat topped, rounded bottom shield shape base with three horizontal bars in field-gray, blue and green with a narrow field-gray outer border. The top field-gray horizontal bar has printed white script, "Idel-Ural", "Idel" being the Tartar word for Volga. The center of the shield features a white crossed arrow and sword that cross over at the parallel line of the blue and green bars. The shield is still on its original white factory roll. The shield is in overall excellent, unissued condition. 19) TROPICAL INFANTRY SIGNALS PERSONNEL'S TRADE BADGE. Infantry Signals trade badge is in the form of a roughly, 55mm tall, 42mm wide, vertically oval, Olive cotton cloth base with a central, hand embroidered, downward pointing, blitz arrow in white threads. 20) TROPICAL OBERSCHÜTZE'S RANK PIP. Second pattern, later issue, (Circa 1940), tropical Oberschütze rank insignia consists of a roughly, 55mm diameter, light ribbed, green HBT twill base with a central, machine embroidered, rank pip in gray rayon threads. The outer edge of the base is trimmed with a narrow strip of green drab rayon. 21) TROPICAL QUALIFIED FARRIER TRADE BADGE. Insignia consists of a roughly, 55mm diameter blue/green badge cloth base with hand embroidered inverted horseshoe in heavy, golden yellow, threads. 22) QUALIFIED FARRIER TRADE BADGE. Insignia consists of a roughly, 55mm diameter blue/green badge cloth base with hand embroidered inverted horseshoe in heavy, golden yellow, threads. 23) MEDICAL PERSONNEL'S TRADE BADGE. Early, (Pre-1940), blue/green badge wool base with a hand embroidered Asklepian, (serpent intertwined on a staff), in bright golden yellow rayon threads. Has been removed from a uniform. 24) SENIOR ENGINE NCO'S CAREER SLEEVE INSIGNIA. The insignia consists of a vertically oval, deep navy blue wool base with a multi-cogged gear wheel superimposed on a vertical anchor and a V just below it. As is typical with a zinc production examples it has pushed away most of its original silver wash and has reverted to the flat matte gray of the base alloy. The reverse of the insignia has it’s protective black fabric backing intact. 25) WEAPONS CONTROL FOREMAN'S ANTI-AIRCRAFT TRADE BADGE. The 1940 pattern insignia consists of a vertically oval, blue wool base with machine embroidered, upward and downward pointing, arrow dial heads superimposed on a circular base with staggered, outer graduation bars, positioned above a single chevron, all in bright red threads. The outer edge of the white cotton/rayon base has a narrow white rayon reinforcement strip machine stitched in place. Complete with original cloth backing fabric. 26) BLOCKING WEAPONS MECHANIC NCO'S SLEEVE CAREER INSIGNIA. The insignia consists of a vertically oval, white cotton/rayon blend material base with machine embroidered , diagonally angled, naval mine superimposed over a multi-cogged gear wheel, which in turn is superimposed on a vertical anchor with a V just below, all in cornflower blue threads. 27) ANTI-AIRCRAFT RANGE FINDER OPERATOR'S SPECIALTY TRADE BADGE. The insignia consists of a vertically oval, ribbed, white rayon base with a machine embroidered horizontal, range finder positioned on an equilateral triangle which encompasses a flaming artillery shell, flanked by stylized, wings, all in heavy, bright red threads.
