World War II leather covered photo album -- souvenir of Camp McCain, Mississippi, where The 87th and 94th infantry divisions trained at Camp McCain for combat in Europe. Album includes approximately 350 black and white photographs, many of which include the same soldier wearing a 2nd Army shoulder patch and carrying a Thompson submachine gun. Lots of interesting photo content here including the Eiffel Tower in Paris, French cathedrals, tanks, soldiers displaying captured German war souvenirs, and more. Some of the photos have come loose from their corners. Many annotated on the backs. Very Good
