Christiaan Huygens wall clock with 3 melodies Whittington, Saint Michael and Westminster. Ascending every fifteen minutes to the hour the full melody and the strokes. Extremely pure. The melodies are easily adjustable via a lever. The case is removable and without damage. It consists of extremely expensive burr-walnut wood. This is a very strong and wear-resistant type of wood. It is a beautiful wall clock which was made and dated around 1950. A burr-walnut veneered sanctification with the movement including striking mechanism of 12 hammers on gong rods. The dial is painted with Apollo and the 9 nymphs. And also indicates the day-night position by means of moon or sun display. The clock has a high decorative value. An antique valuation report is present with the clock. The glassware is cut glass without damage. The clock has a winding mechanism powered by 3 heavy gold-plated weights. Height is 144cm depth 23 cm and width 41 cm. On top of the clock are 3 large images including Atlas carrying the world. The clock functions very well and can be seen working.
