A Wallace Nutting eight-spindle brace-back Windsor side chair, early 20th century, having a carved pine saddle seat raised on turned maple tapering legs, with an applied paper maker's label to the underside.
Dimensions:Height 38 1/2in; width 19 1/4in; depth of seat 15 3/4in; seat height 17 3/4in.
Provenance:From a Chester County estate.
Condition: The hoop back is slightly loose. Retaining its original Surface. With heavy wear, marks, nicks, scratches and loss of Surface especially to the seat and legs.
