Goofy and Minnie Mouse Ceramic Figurines Group of 2 (Walt Disney/Beswick UK, c. 1950s). Goofy and Minnie seem to be sharing a secret, in this group of two rare ceramic figurines! They come from a rare series of Disney figurines made and sold in England in the 1950s. Each of these beautifully hand-painted figurines stand about 4" tall. The Beswick pottery company was founded in 1894, and remained in business over 100 years, finally closing shop in 2002. Their Disney series of figurines began in 1952, and all are highly collectible today. Goofy has one tiny white spot on his head, visible from behind; it appears to be a slight painting defect, not a chip. Overall condition is Very Good to Fine with light handling.
