Walt Disney Studios - Other (20th Century)
Ben and Me Storyboard Drawings by Bill Peet (Walt Disney, 1953) This is a set of storyboard drawings from Academy Award nominated short are by legendary Disney story man Bill Peet (1915 - 2002). These images cover scenes 54 through 57 when Ben Franklin (with a little help from his friend Amos) invents bifocals. The board consists of five panels ranging in size from 2.5" x 3" to 4.5" x 6", rendered in Conte' crayon, and taped to a sheet of 16 field 3-peghole paper. It's very rare to find Disney production artwork that can be attributed to a specific artist, especially one as notable as Mr. Peet. The piece shows handling, small fold creases, smudges, and pinholes in the corners. Condition is Very Good.
