USA, 8739", a painted metal dial marked "Waltham" and Arabic numerals. Mahogany case with applied Brass rope detail having a Gilded Eagle finial above circular Brass upper door with convex glass over a throat glass with reverse painted decoration and Jefferson portrait, flanked by shaped Brass side arms over a lower door with reverse painted decoration of Monticello over a carved drop with Mahogany spheres and fluted detail. Original finish with minor wear, some flaking and touch-ups on glasses, running when cataloged. 41" high. ESTIMATE $600-800
